About Us
Great Heights Academy provides a nurturing and innovative learning environment dedicated to transforming the lives of our students. As an Accredited Member of the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) and an approved Private School recognized by the Florida Department of Education, we take pride in offering an individualized, challenging curriculum tailored to the unique strengths and needs of each student.
Our school specializes in working with neurodiverse students, ensuring that no two children are taught the same way. By embracing a personalized approach to education, we create customized learning experiences that foster growth in academics, life skills, and social development.
Great Heights Academy engages students with age-appropriate, hands-on activities that encourage practical learning and skill-building. Through close collaboration among our dedicated teachers, therapists, staff, and parents, we are able to support every student in reaching their full potential.
We proudly serve children and young adults from Kindergarten through 12th grade with a range of intellectual and developmental disabilities, including but not limited to: Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Asperger’s Syndrome, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy.
